BIODATA PENELITI
Prof. Zullies Ikawati, PhD, Pharm is academician with specialization in Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy in Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada. She earned PhD degree in Pharmacology from Ehime University Japan in 2001. She is actively doing research in the field of pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, and pharmacogenomics. She has published several books in the field of pharmacotherapy and pharmacology. In professional activity as a pharmacist, she is also active in Indonesian Pharmacist Association. She often gives lectures with various topics in Indonesian Pharmacist Association’s meeting in many places in Indonesia. Most of them are in the field of pharmacotherapy for several diseases, like respiratory disorders, central nervous system disorders, and other common chronic diseases.
She is now in charge as Head of Master Program in Clinical Pharmacy Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In this position, she is interested in building interprofessional education and collaboration to support health care, especially in health care fasilities. She is eager to improve pharmacist’s roles in health care in Indonesia. Besides, she is a senior lecturer in Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada, and now is teaching various courses, including molecular pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, pharmacogenomics, clinical trial, and clinical pharmacy.
